AVP / Area Mortgage Sales Manager · NMLS #373627
Jeff has been in residential lending since 2003 and with TruStone since 2014. He is a perennial Scotsman Guide Top Loan Originator, a four-time Super Mortgage Professional (Mpls.St.Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business) and sits on the board of the Minnesota Mortgage Association. Off the clock he coaches and officiates youth hockey.
Tim grew up on Pederson Homes construction sites, starting at age 12, and he still walks through a house the way a builder would. At every showing he looks for what most buyers miss: siding and flashing that let water in, cracks that signal real structural movement, aging furnaces and wiring, and grading that sends water toward the foundation. Spotting those problems before you make an offer protects your budget and gives you leverage. When you sell, he handles the marketing and paperwork from start to finish.
Pam brings more than 20 years of closing experience and is known for her attention to detail and clear communication. She handles everything from FHA and VA closings to down payment assistance and tricky title issues, so your closing is accurate, seamless and stress-free.
The Twin Cities Hero Program is a partnership of TruStone Home Mortgage, Pederson Realty and Legacy Title that gives teachers, healthcare workers, law enforcement officers, firefighters and military members savings when they buy or sell a home in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area.
Who qualifies for the Twin Cities Hero Program?
Current and former teachers, healthcare professionals, state and local law enforcement officers, firefighters, and active or former military members. You confirm your eligibility on our form, and your team may ask for verification such as a work ID, license or DD-214.
How much can I save?
Buyers save at least $1,300: a $500 closing cost credit from Pederson Realty, $150 off the closing fee at Legacy Title, and at least $650 from TruStone Home Mortgage’s Community Heroes loan, which includes a discounted lender fee and reduced mortgage insurance rates. Sellers get the $500 credit and the $150 title discount, a combined $650.
Do I have to use all three partners?
No. Each partner’s offer stands on its own. You can get the Pederson Realty credit, the Legacy Title discount or TruStone’s Community Heroes pricing without using the other two, though using all three gets you the most savings and one coordinated team.
Is there an income limit or a price limit?
No. TruStone’s Community Heroes loan has no income limits, and the Pederson Realty credit has no minimum price, cap or deadline.
Do I have to be a first-time home buyer?
No. Repeat buyers and current homeowners can use the program too.
Can I use the program if I’m selling my home?
Yes. Eligible sellers who list with Pederson Realty get a $500 credit toward their closing costs, and Legacy Title takes $150 off the closing fee when it closes your sale. That’s $650 in savings.
What areas does the program cover?
The Minneapolis–Saint Paul metro, including Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Dakota, Washington, Scott and Carver counties, plus surrounding communities. Not sure about your area? Ask us.
